Environmental Responsibility
Our goal is not only to care about the environment for our own enjoyment and health, but also to make a contribution to Vietnam which is attractive to tourists and will see them coming back over time. Therefore, we have an ongoing commitment to address the most urgent environmental issues facing tourism.
Our efforts include:
- Using sustainable resources, reducing waste, considering the volume and type of tourism that the environment can support and respecting the integrity of vulnerable ecosystems and protected areas.
- Promoting education and awareness for sustainable development.
- Committing ourselves to following best practice and thus continually consulting with environmental and conservation experts on all areas.
Social Responsibility
100% of our local guides and suppliers come from the areas where we operate in. This means that JPTraveltime directly generates greater economic benefits for local people and enhances the well-being of host communities, improves working conditions and access to the industry. We participate in their development within the industry providing advice and training to further enhance their skills.
JPTraveltime works with local communities to promote their culture and provides more enjoyable experiences for tourists through more meaningful connections with local people, and a greater understanding of local cultural, social, and environmental issues.
Cultural Respect
Although similar at first glance, cultures, traditions and customs across Vietnam can vary substantially. Vietnam is a fascinating and exciting destination with countless cultural exchange opportunities. Understanding this, we always work hard to integrate deep cultural experiences and create respect between tourists and hosts, while building local pride and confidence. We want to contribute to the sustainable conservation of natural and cultural heritage.
The Travetime Foundation
The Traveltime Foundation, established in 2019, is the not-for-profit arm of JPTraveltime. We combine traveling with visits to orphanages in different localities in Vietnam. The contribution to this fund will come from the profits of JPTraveltime as well as other benefactors. We believe that small positive acts will be the root of all good things.
