Itinerary

Day 1 Da Nang arrival

Upon arrival at Danang international airport you will be met by our representative
After lunch we will take a two and a half hour drive to Hue city.

Day 2 Hue city tour

The guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby and start your tour in Hue city.
After a 15 minute drive, our group will reach the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, created in the 19thCentury for the Emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty.
Next, we will experience local life by visiting Dong Ba market where you will have time to shop for Vietnamese coffee, lotus nuts, cashew nuts and other local products
We will continue your day trip by visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous Vietnamese landmarks. After that, take a romantic 40 minute leisure boat ride along the Perfume river.
Lunch at a local restaurant
At 14h00 you will depart for Tu Duc Mausoleum which is famous for its poetic scene.
At around 16:00, the city tour will come to the end, The evening is free.

Day 3 Hue – DMZ – Phong Nha 220km

In the morning we will depart Hue and head for Quang Tri province. Along the way, you will stop at a number of different battle sites to see the La Vang Church, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge – the former borderline between North and South Vietnam during the war.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Vinh Moc tunnels where North Vietnamese guerilla fighters lived and fought.

Continue on our way to Phong Nha town and check in at your hotel and then relax. Dinner on your own.

Day 4 Phong Nha cave – Paradise cave

We will drive to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and start our day with Paradise Cave – the longest dry cave in Asia.
You will pass through a jungle whereby you will encounter a vast variety of trees as well as animal sounds. You will get to explore the cave (about 1km) on the wooden flooring with its stalactites of different shapes. Visitors are attracted to the natural and primitive features of Paradise Cave which makes it look like a painting of a beautiful landscape.
12:30 Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, Continue on your journey to Phong Nha Cave.
Enjoy a 5km boat ride along the Son river to Phong Nha Cave (the longest wet cave). Before entering the cave, you can observe children having fun on the waterfront as well as have an opportunity to experience the daily life of the villagers in the neighborhood riverside which bears the soul of Vietnamese countryside.
Return to the boat station.

Day 5 Phong Nha – Da Nang 310km (6,5 hours)

07:30 Begin our long drive back to Da Nang. Expect to arrive in Da Nang in the late afternoon. Free time to relax and discover the city.

Day 6 Da Nang - departure

Free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to back home.

Tour prices vary according to the size of the tour groups. Destinations and services can be changed flexibly according to customer requirements. Our travel expert will quote on a case by case basis and get back to you once you submit your request for the tour packages.
At the time of quotation, JPTraveltime reserves the right to adjust prices to account for unusual price fluctuations in currency, hotel, transportation and other commodity markets.
Single Room Supplement: If a single room is requested, you will pay extra for this cost.

Children Policy

Children < 5 years old: Free of charge if no extra bed is required, accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stay in the same room. An extra bed is charged 50% as adults
5 =< Children =< 12 years old: Reduction of 25% of the tour price is provided that they are accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stay in the same room. An extra bed is fully charged as adults.
Children > 12 years old: Fully charged as adults.
